The Indian Navy fired at a suspicious vessel near the Indo-Sri Lankan border.
It is reported that although the Indian Navy, which was on patrol, issued danger signals to the vessel in question on several occasions, it proceeded to fire due to its progress.
One of the people in the yacht was injured in the firing and he was taken to Ramanathapuram Government Hospital by helicopter.
It was later revealed that the injured person was a fisherman from Maliladuthurai district of Tamil Nadu.
